Chalk it up.
My kids love chalk. They love making designs in the driveway, and they usually do this after a bike ride with dad. But really, the whole world is their canvas when it comes to chalk. And after a while, they, especially Makena, will have chalk from head to toe and look almost ghostly.
And on Saturday morning they took to covering the play structure in the backyard in chalk:

Love your photos and was glad to get the link to your archives about converting photos to B&W. I've been using the desaturate technique but am anxious to try the Gradient Map. You made a reference in the Simple Blog about Alison Kimball's blog, but I can't find a link to it. Could you please post one? Thanks. I'm enjoying your posts.
